CRAIG BUFFKIN, the firm’s founder, serves as the managing partner and is actively involved in client and business development. He also leads the Marketing and Technology practices for the firm.
Prior to founding The Buffkin Group, Mr. Buffkin was Vice-President of Professional Recruiting Solutions-Nashville, a national technology search firm. Mr. Buffkin has completed over 100 searches while involved in both firms.
Before entering the search profession, Mr. Buffkin spent over 3 years as a turnaround specialist and over 10 years in direct marketing. As a turnaround specialist, he served as the Executive Vice President of Associated Resource Medical Services (joint venture with GE Medical Systems) and as a consultant to a Great American, Inc., the largest fundraising company in the US and Europe. In both companies, he played a significant role in directing their growth and profitability.
Mr. Buffkin received a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated with honors from UNC and was the youngest student ever admitted into the MBA program at the Kenan Flagler School of Business, a top 10 MBA program nationally. He also graduated with honors receiving an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from UNC. He and his wife Heather reside in Nashville with their three children, Caroline, Charlie and Francie. |
